DC took over publication of Hopalong Cassidy from Fawcett with issue 86 in February 1954. The Australian reprint series transferred from Larry S Cleland to KG Murray around the same time. Many of the Hopalong Cassidy stories printed by Murray across its line of comics were rebadged from other DC western series, with the hero's face redrawn as Hopalong.
